Luke Bryan may have left the 2013 CMA Awards empty-handed earlier this month, but he scored his second career American Music Award during Sunday (Nov. 24) night's show.

Bryan was up against Hunter Hayes and reigning CMA Male Vocalist of the Year Blake Shelton, but he took home the award for Favorite Male Country Artist for the second year in a row, a feat he attributes mainly to his fans

"Thank you so much fans," Bryan said. "Thank you fans. Thank you so much -- fans. Thank you God above for letting me do this every year."

The singer also addressed his wife, thanking her for her support while he is off doing his shows, which include a particular kind of dance move.

“Thank you to my wife. Thank you for letting me shaking it a little bit out on the road,” he said with a laugh.
