After just one season, VH1 has cancelled LeAnn Rimes' reality show 'LeAnn & Eddie.'

The 30-minute show, produced by Gurney Productions -- also the production company behind 'Duck Dynasty' -- was intended to show fans what life was really like for Rimes and husband Eddie Cibrian, especially given the intense scrutiny and speculation over their relationship.

The couple met on the set of 'Northern Lights' in 2009, when they were both married to different people, and wed each other in 2011. Rimes and Cibrian were hopeful that 'LeAnn & Eddie' would help clear the air around their relationship.

"The biggest global misconception would be that we're not two people who are really in love with each other, that there are ulterior motives to our relationship," Rimes told People in July. "But people just don't get it. Hopefully people will get a chance to see how we just click."

The couple has been in the spotlight especially due to their very heated -- and very public -- disputes with Cibrian's ex-wife and 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star Brandi Glanville.

“This show gave us an opportunity to take back our lives in a way and show a different side of us than what people really believe,” Rimes explains (quote via Us magazine). “Look, if their minds are changed or opened or whatever, that’s wonderful. But if not, I don’t think we’re really set up to change anyone’s mind.”

'LeAnn & Eddie' premiered in July 2014.
