Lady A, Kid Rock, Maroon 5 Get Fans Ready for Football

Lady Antebellum will usher in the first game of the 2011-12 NFL season as part of a star-studded performance. The award-winning trio will be among the acts featured on the NFL Kickoff 2011 Concert, as part of the televised pregame show airing on NBC and the NFL Network before the season opener between reigning Super Bowl champs, the Green Bay Packers, and the New Orleans Saints.

Joining band members Hillary Scott, Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood for the outdoor show will be Kid Rock and Maroon 5. The concert begins at 7:30 PM ET, and will be held on a stage next to the Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wis.

The NFL Kickoff Concert has featured several country artists in previous years to perform as part of the season's celebratory launch, including Keith Urban, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw and Taylor Swift.

Lady A are getting ready to release their new album, 'Own the Night,' on September 13. The title of the album comes from the group's current single, 'We Owned the Night,' which quickly became a favorite track for each of them. "['The song] is about a special once-in-a-lifetime moment, and we thought that naming the album around that same sentiment was really appropriate," Hillary explains to The Boot. "It's also about the experience we want to create every night in concert for our fans ... together, we own the night!"

The threesome will kick off their Own the Night tour on November 11 in Knoxville, Tenn. Josh Kelley will serve as opening act on all dates, with Randy Montana and Eden's Edge splitting shows throughout the tour. Keep track of the group's concert schedule here.
