Kristian Bush of Sugarland will play a string of shows alongside film and television star-turned-country singer-songwriter Rita Wilson. The pair's joint tour, which focuses on smaller venues, will run throughout June.

Bush's solo career began with the 2015 release of Southern Gravity and the Top 20 single "Trailer Hitch" and continues beyond Sugarland's 2018 comeback. The BMI Award-winning songwriter's sets will tease a forthcoming EP, slated for a summer release.

Since 2012, Wilson, a veteran actress and the wife of actor Tom Hanks, has shared her singing talents through classic cover songs and co-writes with Bush and others from the worlds of country and pop music. She's touring to promote Halfway to Home, a new album mostly made in Nashville and featuring such co-writers as Richard Marx and Matraca Berg.

Bush's rise to country stardom alongside Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles began in the Atlanta folk scene, including numerous appearances at Shawn Mullins and John Mayer's springboard to success, Eddie's Attic. Needless to say, he's got plenty of experience playing intimate spaces smaller than the City Wineries and other stops on his tour with Wilson.
