Country on the River 2016 may be a country music festival, but it's going to have some rock in its lineup -- Kid Rock, that is.

The Detroit native has been revealed as Country on the River's first headliner for next year's event, where he'll bring his mix of country and rock -- with a little bit of rap and hip-hop thrown in for good measure -- and hit songs like "Cowboy" and "All Summer Long" to the stage.

Country on the River 2016 is set to take place Aug. 4-6 in Prairie du Chien, Wis. Tickets for next year's fest are on sale now -- but only at Country on the River 2015. Those who are at this year's fest and want to set their 2016 plans in stone a year in advance can visit the Ticket Renewal Booth, which will be open 1PM-10PM local time on Saturday (Aug.7).

Additional details and acts for Country on the River 2016 will be announced in the coming months. This year's lineup includes Alabama, Jake Owen, Dierks Bentley, Cole Swindell and more.

Country on the River 2015 wraps up on Saturday night with a fest-closing set from Bentley, as well as performances throughout the day by Randy Houser, Jerrod Niemann, Blackjack Billy and American Young.
