It only took eight minutes for Kenny Chesney to sell out the Gillette Stadium stop of his Goin' Coastal tour, prompting him to add an additional show at the Foxboro, Mass. venue. Fans can purchase tickets for the new August 28 show beginning February 5.

"The last show of every year has always been special," the singer says. "A unique shared moment and connection with the fans celebrating a summer full of music. I can't think of a better place than playing two nights at Gillette stadium to close this years tour! I really missed playing Foxboro last summer and I can't wait to reconnect with everyone in New England!"

The Zac Brown Band will join the 'Somewhere With You' singer for the additional date, as well as the 11 other stadium shows. Also on the bill are Goin' Coastal openers Billy Currington and Uncle Kracker.

The sellout is Kenny's sixth at Gillette stadium, a record for any artist of any genre. With only 12 tour dates on sale, the East Tennessee native has already sold 400,000 tickets. If he surpasses the 1 million mark in 2011, it will be his ninth year to do so.

Kenny's on roll. 'Somewhere With You' is holding the No. 1 spot on the chart for the second week in a row.

"The song 'Somewhere with You' is the ultimate 'hanging onto somebody' song, or to a certain emotion or to a certain time of your life," Kenny explains. "And it doesn't necessarily say in the song that this guy or this girl wants that person back. But when they think about where they were happiest and what is important to them -- that when the guy goes, 'I'd rather be somewhere with you. I'm here, but I still love you, and I still think about what we had' -- everybody has that."

The Goin' Coastal tour kicks off March 17 in West Palm Beach, Fla. Get a full list of dates here.
