Kenny Chesney took the stage at the 2018 ACM Awards to perform his latest single "Get Along." The upbeat anthem brought a hopeful vibe to the awards show.

Dressed in his go-to stage outfit -- a sleeveless T-shirt, a cowboy hat and jeans -- Chesney performed from a stage in the middle of the crowd gathered at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. The country superstar looked comfortable up there by himself, with his band perched back on the main stage.

"I love you guys ... Thanks for having us!" Chesney shouted at the end of his performance. "See you this summer!"

"Get Along" is the first song off Chesney's upcoming new album. Its writers include two of the nominees for Songwriter of the Year at the 2018 ACMs, Shane MacAnally and Josh Osborne.

No stranger to the ACM Awards stage, Chesney performed at the show for the first time in 1998, and was the ACM Entertainer of the Year from 2005-2008. He won Male Vocalist of the Year at the show in 2003.

Chesney is preparing to hit the road for the summer: His 2018 Trip Around the Sun Tour will begin on April 21.
