Kenny Chesney will make his CMA Songwriter Series debut on August 25 in Boston, Mass. The intimate show will be held at the Royale Night Club, a newly-renovated opera house in the heart of the city's theater district.

The 'You Had Me From Hello' songwriter will join Matraca Berg ('You and Tequila'), Brett James ('Out Last Night'), Wendell Mobley ('There Goes My Life') and Craig Wiseman ('The Good Stuff'), all of whom have written smash hits for Kenny. Host Bob DiPiero, who wrote Kenny's 'Paris, Tennessee,' among a long list of country hits, rounds out the stellar lyricist line-up.

Tickets for the show go on sale on Friday (July 1) at 12:00 PM ET through Ticketmaster. VIP ticket price is set at $75, with floor seating selling at $45 and general admission going for $30. Fans can text SONGWRITERS to 66937 for text alerts for upcoming dates and performers.

The CMA Songwriter Series is an initiative designed to showcase country music's premiere songwriting talent outside the reaches of the country music industry. Past stops include New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and Washington D.C.. Previous artist participants include Kellie Pickler, Dierks Bentley, Easton Corbin and Ashton Shepherd.
