If you're dining out solo in a restaurant, don't be surprised if that familiar-looking blond who pulls a chair up to your table is Kellie Pickler.

"A lot of times, people are scared to come up to you," Kellie tells the Charlotte Observer (via CMIL). "You can tell they want to talk to you. I'll walk up to them. I've always been that kind of person. If someone is sitting alone at a restaurant, I'm going to ask to sit together. I hate seeing elders sitting by themselves."

Kellie, who was in her home state of North Carolina this past weekend on the Fearless tour with Taylor Swift, also bares her soul (or is that her sole?) and discusses her shoe addiction, confessing, "It didn't hit me until I was older. When I was younger, I was more of a tomboy. I went barefoot. In my teenage years, I couldn't afford the shoes I wanted. Now it's gotten out of control. I look for height -- I'm 5'1", if that -- and for style. I have some crazy shoes."

When Kellie says she looks for height, she means it. "I walk better in heels." she notes. "I wear tennis shoes to the airport, and I'm stumbling all over the place. I'm so used to being on my toes."

And while the Fearless tour isn't over yet, Kellie will soon have a new house to move into, although she reveals she may not move in until the end of the year. "It's my dream home," says the singer. "As soon as I walked in, it had this amazing feeling. It's not cookie-cutter. It feels like a spa."
