Kellie Pickler -- who tweeted earlier this week that she has dyed her hair from blonde to red -- is set to headline (and no doubt turn a few heads!) at the first concert to be held the new Country Crossing entertainment complex in Dothan, Ala. Kellie takes the stage of the Celebrity Station Amphitheatre for its inaugural show on Dec. 12, with Houston County and Matt Kennon are also slated to perform.

Tickets to the show are only available through donations to the Wiregrass Area United Way Food Bank beginning Nov. 2 through Nov. 13. Canned foods (a minimum donation of five cans) may be redeemed for tickets or a monetary donation (minimum $5 per ticket, minimum to tickets per person) may be made to the food bank. More information is available at their official website.

"This is not only our first concert, but it is also our first opportunity to give back to the Wiregrass community that has supported our project so faithfully," says Ronnie Gilley, the president of Ronnie Gilley Entertainment and developer of Country Crossing. "We have been blessed throughout our endeavor here and look forward to establishing Country Crossing as a first-class country music entertainment destination with many more shows to come."

Country Crossing is situated on Highway 231 in Dothan. Last month The Boot spoke to several of the artists who'll have a presence there, including George Jones, Darryl Worley and Lorrie Morgan. Read our interview with the entrepreneurial country crooners here.
