Kellie Pickler hit the stage to perform with the Nashville Ballet at Nashville's Schermerhorn Symphony Center.

The performance was part of the 2014 Ballet Ball, which took place on Saturday (March 8). Pickler sang 'Someone Somewhere Tonight' and 'Buzzin' from her recently released album, 'The Woman I Am,' while members of the ballet performed choreography from Paul Vasterling, CEO and Artistic Director of the Nashville Ballet.

At the end of the joint performance, the audience was on their feet, giving Pickler and the dancers a standing ovation as they took their bows.

Pickler also spoke about her love for storytelling through song and dance. The singer became interested in dance after winning the ABC show 'Dancing with the Stars' with Derek Hough.

“I am so honored Nashville Ballet chose me to perform as part of their Ballet Ball this year,” Pickler says. “My passion is music, but last year I discovered how much I love to dance, so to have Nashville Ballet dance to two of my songs is really exciting for me.”
