Kellie Pickler Keeping Romance Casual
Kellie Pickler is keeping things with new boyfriend, songwriter Kyle Jacobs (Garth Brooks' 'More Than a Memory'), very low-key. Rather than spending nights club-hopping or going to fancy restaurants, she says they prefer lounging on the couch.
"We usually just enjoy each other's company and make each other laugh," she tells OK! magazine.
The 'Red High Heels' singer also shares a few of her makeup secrets, saying she'd be lost without her "team of highly-trained professionals" who help get her ready for public appearances. And although Pickler isn't a big fan of cosmetics, she confesses to something of an addiction to mascara.
"I have 40,000 mascaras," she says jokingly. "For a girl that doesn't like makeup, I have a lot."
Asked about the romantic aspirations of her friend and fellow 'American Idol' Carrie Underwood, Pickler says she hopes her gal pal finds a man "who's trusting and funny, and a good guy who is going to treat her right."
Kellie Pickler's new self-titled album, featuring her latest single, 'Don't You Know You're Beautiful,' is set for release on September 30.
