Kellie Pickler has announced a brand-new song, and it's bound to be a seasonal favorite.

"Feeling Tonight," written by Sarah Buxton, Josh Osborne and Jimmy Robbins -- and produced by Pickler's husband, Kyle Jacobs -- is an uptempo track, with lines like, “What you’re doing right now is sunshine and midnight."  It's a perfect song to kick off the warmer weather.

"I hope that it will be this year's summer anthem," Pickler tells Entertainment Tonight. "Represent the girls and have fun. It's sassy and fun."

Pickler, whose last album, The Woman I Am, was released in 2013, revealed last year that she was working on a new set of tunes.

"My husband's a songwriter and a producer, so we're writing together as well," she divulged to CBS News at the time. "We're gearing up for No. 5."

The North Carolina native is also starring in her own reality TV show, tentatively titled I Love Kellie Pickler, which will premiere on CMT on Sept. 18.

“I think that we are … we’re whatever normal is,” Pickler tells The Boot. "We’re pretty normal as far as, we’re able to be a part of some pretty cool things, but we’re just so — easy. We’re simple people.

“When everything is said and done, we’ve got some great friends around us and people we love like family,” she adds. “Everyone has their own little story, their own little thing to bring to the table.”

The singer also recently launched her own line of home goods, Selma Drye by Kellie Pickler, in honor of her great-grandmother, which is available at the Grand Ole Opry and at Opry.com. More information is available on Pickler's website.

"Feeling Tonight" is available for download on iTunes.
