Kellie Pickler, ‘Dancing’ Star?

Kellie Pickler seems to have contracted a case of dance fever. The 'American Idol' alum tells OK! magazine that she'd like to compete on a different reality show: the hit ABC series, 'Dancing with the Stars.' According to the magazine, Pickler confided her ambition in former 'Dancing' pro -- and fellow rising country star -- Julianne Hough, telling her, "I thought it would be fun."

Although Kellie says she can "go to the clubs and shake it," she's not as confident in her ability to master the more technical aspects of dancing. "It would be a challenge for me to learn the technique," she admits.

Whether she ultimately signs on to be a contestant, Kellie has no plans to abandon her music career.

"It's only a couple months. It's not like you're signing on for the rest of your life," she says. "I will always be part of country music for as long as the country music family will have me."
