Kellie PicklerKellie Pickler, who has been a household name in country music since coming in sixth place on 'American Idol' three years ago, is well aware she could become much more famous -- and wealthy -- by allowing some of her music to cross over. She just isn't interested.

"I love country -- that's what I grew up listening to," Kellie tells the Chicago Tribune. "As long as I'm played on country radio, I don't care if any other stations play my music or not. If they want to play my music, that's fine. But I'm not changing it for them."

She may not need to. Her recent hit, 'Best Days of Your Life,' broke into the Top 50 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. She's also been one of only six artists to have their first two albums both debut at No. 1 on the Billboard Country chart.

Currently on the road with buddy Taylor Swift on the 'Fearless' tour, Kellie admits days off are few and far between, although she's excited to have a rare day off this year on her favorite holiday, Halloween.

"This is the first Halloween I don't have to work," she says. "I might have to take advantage. I've been witches, monsters, Barbies -- I was obsessed with Barbie when I was younger -- Dolly [Parton]. Gosh, I need to find those pictures."

In addition to a busy tour schedule, Kellie is hard at work on a new album, and she's getting ready for her third USO tour next year.
