Keith UrbanHe's already won three Grammy awards, so now Keith Urban is paying the Recording Academy back. He has been announced as the headliner for the organization's annual Starry Night benefit show, July 23 in Los Angeles. Keith is more than happy to perform for the worthy cause, which benefits the GRAMMY Foundation's GRAMMY in the Schools music education programs for high school students, as well as the Southern California Tennis Association Foundation.

"I was so fortunate to have been exposed to music at such a young age," says Keith. "It touched my heart and opened up a world of adventure and possibilities beyond anything I'd ever known. Being a part of this concert is something that I feel very strongly about, because I know firsthand what art, music and sport can do for our youth."

Serving as opening act for the evening will be the popular folk duo, the Avett Brothers, who are nominated for two Americana Music Awards, including Song of the Year.

Keith is currently finishing up a string of shows with the Eagles and the Dixie Chicks, as well as performing several solo dates, with 'American Idol' alum Kris Allen serving as his opening act. He's also among the artists appearing on the CMT Music Awards June 9 and the upcoming CMA Music Fest, held June 10-13 in Nashville, Tenn.
