Keith Urban is prepping for the international launch of his men's cologne, Phoenix -- a "woody oriental" scent infused with plum and cognac, according to a press release -- and to help promote the product, he's teaming up with People.com for a nationwide contest.

From Oct. 4 through Nov. 11, fans will have a chance to submit 30-second commercials for Phoenix. The winner, to be chosen by Keith and announced Nov. 14, will score tickets and airfare to see the country star perform sometime next year, as well as a gift bag filled with Phoenix products. What's more, their ad will be aired on national television.

"The scent is not only reflective of Urban's personal triumphs, but is also an expression of his spirit," says the press release announcing the contest. "The phoenix symbol resonates with Urban for its immortality and ability to renew and be reborn."
