Christmas has come early for country music fans! Keith Urban's new "Break on Me" lyric video is now ready for viewing.

The video is simple: The song's lyrics appear in black block letters against a backdrop of a slightly crinkled piece of paper. "Break on Me" is a beautiful song, and visually seeing the lyrics makes it even more impactful. The song is, in a way, a balm for those going through difficult times, and it's especially fitting in Urban's life right now, as his father recently passed away.

"Break on Me" dropped in mid-October, as the follow-up single to "John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16." It is the first ballad that Urban has released as a single since his hit "Cop Car" in 2014. Ross Copperman and Jon Nite penned the new tune, and it was co-produced by Nathan Chapman, for Urban's eighth studio record, the upcoming Ripcord.

Urban's new album will be released sometime in 2016, although a specific date has not been announced. The songs will reflect the singer's current stage in life, Urban says.

“I always think records are like photographs; they’re just a snapshot,” he explains. “For me anyway, they’ve all been just an accurate snapshot of who I am, where I am in life, what’s going on."
