He hasn't lived there in almost two decades, but Keith Urban is still Australia's golden boy. Proof: there wasn't a single empty seat on the Aussie leg of the country superstar's Get Closer World tour, as shows in Adelaide, Melbourne, Tamworth, Sydney and Brisbane all sold out.

The four-time Grammy winner's home country trek included a lot of fan surprises along the way, ranging from impromptu duets with kids in the audience to on-stage jams with tourmates Lady Antebellum. Performing his beloved hits on at least two different stages during every show, Keith hosts jam-packed nights of fun and excitement, but he also couldn't ignore the fact that several of his Aussie friends are still hurting from devastating floods. He took time out to meet with officials to discuss the natural disasters in Queensland and to present a personal check to aid in recovery.

As always, Keith travels with his own filmmaker to document his life on the road. He shares exclusively with The Boot these videos from Australia, so those of us on the other side of the world can get excited about the North American leg of the Get Closer tour, which kicks off in June. VIDEO 1 - IT'S KEITH URBAN DAY!

The city of Tamworth declared it Keith Urban Day, welcoming the country superstar with a makeshift parade, complete with a sea of Keith posters and street musicians playing nothing but Keith Urban music. The musician repaid the town that night with a rockin' live show, complete with a little impromptu meet-and-greet right on the live stage. Keith invited a young fan to chat with him all about school and music, in front of a few thousand friends.

VIDEO 3 - SLIM DUSTY TRIBUTE

The handcrafted Maton guitar Keith plays in this video is made from 300 year old cedar wood from the property of one of his musical mentors, the late Slim Dusty. The guitar, which features a fingerboard with Slim's signature in mother-of-pearl, will be auctioned off to raise money for the Slim Dusty Centre being built in Kempsey. Keith plays the instrument during his poignant hit, 'Making Memories of Us,' dedicating the song to Slim and his wife, Joy McKean, with whom he used to tour back in the early days of his career.
