While a Top 10 single on the country charts is cause for celebration, for Keith Anderson the achievement has also become one of great personal reflection. On June 30, the singer's mother, Janice Anderson, died following a lengthy battle with cancer, just as her son was climbing the chart with 'I Still Miss You.' And although the song has taken on new meaning for him, making it a tough one to sing in concert, Anderson says the support of his band and crew has been a blessing.

"It's pretty amazing how God will put you with people without you even knowing," he tells Dial-Global. "But on my bus of 10 guys -- crew members and band mates and a bus driver -- seven of those 10 have lost their mom in the last two to two-and-a-half years. And so I'm surrounded with a bunch of guys that really know what I'm going through and have been so supportive to help me get through this."

Anderson says his dad, who has also traveled with him recently, may be along for more road trips in the future.
