J.T. Hodges Goes Acoustic for New Christmas Song, ‘All Through the Night’ [Exclusive Video]

Singer-songwriter — and actor! — J.T. Hodges recently released a Christmas EP, and he's premiering a festive, acoustic take on its title track, "All Through the Night," exclusively with The Boot. Press play above to hear the artist's modern update of a song that's been around since the 1800s.

Hodges brings tender vocals and plucky instrumentation to "All Through the Night," a Welsh Christmas tune that's been covered by many an artist throughout the years. Hodges' holiday-focused EP, also titled All Through the Night, is out now, and fans can stream the project on all major digital platforms.

Some of Hodges' music is featured in Christmas Stars, a brand-new Lifetime movie in which the singer also stars. In the film, Hodges plays a songwriter named Spence who meets an up-and-coming R&B artist named Layla. The two start working together, but as the holidays approach, things get complicated as Hodges' character starts to get a little too much attention from label executives.

Outside of his acting gigs, Hodges is an accomplished songwriter: His best-known songs include "Sleepy Little Town" and "Goodbyes Made You Mine," singles from 2012. Right now, he's busy in the studio laying down new music that's set for release in 2020.
