Josh Turner and his wife, Jennifer, are expecting their fourth child.

The 'Long Black Train' singer broke the news on Tuesday night (May 20). The couple -- who have three sons, ranging in age from two to seven -- are expecting another boy in September.

“It’s a welcome surprise,” Turner tells People magazine. “To have four boys is pretty awesome for a father.”

The singer says his sons have already been pitching in with name suggestions for their brother, including Backwoods Boy -- a name that's evidently not a leading contender.

Turner -- who released his first book, 'Man Stuff,' in April -- acknowledges that having so many sons can be a challenge, but says he and his wife are unphazed by the notion of raising another boy.

“People have always told us having three was the hardest,” he says. “There was this one day a while ago where our three boys were literally driving us crazy. We were ready to pull our hair out and Jennifer was about to scream. I looked at her and said, ‘Hey, remember everyone always told us that three was the hardest number? We’re either having another one or we’re giving one away!'"

Congratulations to the Turner family.
