Josh Thompson Promises ‘Change’ on Tour

Josh Thompson is hitting the road on his Change Is Comin' Tour Feb. 3. The trek consists of club dates, where he'll preview new music from his upcoming album, 'Change.'

"The road definitely feels like home to me," the Wisconsin native says. "I tour as much as I possible can. If I have a day off, I feel guilty. I'm so excited to share this new music with my fans ... I hope they love it as much as I do. Come out and party with us!"

The first single from the singer-songwriter's sophomore album, 'Comin' Around' has already debuted on the Country Aircheck/Mediabase chart. He co-wrote the tune, which recounts the changes a person goes through as they mature, with Kendell Marvel and Rodney Clawson.

In addition, Josh recently filmed the video for 'Comin' Around' in Nashville. "It consists of me, a vacant field and a carnival -- an old-time carnival with a big wheel that's got some pictures that go back to my grandpa, my parents when they were young, me when I was young, up until the present," he tells The Boot. "It's a menagerie of all the moments that define me, turn a circle and come around. A big carnival pops out of nothing, is the one thing that really caught me off guard and caught my attention."
