Will Josh Kelley's 3-year-old daughter Naleigh get to be a big sister? His wife, actress Katherine Heigl, says it's definitely a possibility.

"Josh and I started talking about [adopting] before we were even engaged," Katherine tells Scholastic's Parent & Child magazine, regarding Naleigh, whom the couple adopted from Korea. "We have talked about having biological children as well, but we decided to adopt first ... I'd like to adopt again."

However, the 'One for the Money' star admits that her husband had some worries prior to bringing Naleigh home. "Anyone who doesn't have experience with adoption wonders, does love for a child come through DNA?," she explains. "You love them the moment they're put into your arms. Josh had to learn that, but he was so gracious and accepting."

It didn't take long for Naleigh to accept her new father, either. "She felt really comfortable with Josh and they bonded quickly," Katherine reveals. "It was so effortless for him. I call him Disneyland Dad -- he'll get on the floor and roll around and make her laugh."

Adoption also brings up some other fears. Before Josh and Katherine were able to take custody of their daughter, they learned that she had a heart condition. "The beauty is that Josh's father is a heart surgeon, and we were able to call him immediately and tell him about the condition," she recalls. "We were able to get him her records, and he could look at her cardiogram and tell us the truth. For us, it wasn't about whether or not we were going to embark on this journey. We were definitely doing it. But we wanted to know what we were dealing with. For Naleigh, her condition once corrected is corrected. She's perfectly healthy."

Now, Naleigh even takes after her musician dad. "He takes her to his studio behind our house," Mom says. "Naleigh likes to play the drums and the harmonica. She's very musically inclined, our girl."

The precious toddler has a song named after her on Dad's 'Georgia Clay' album. Josh wrote 'Naleigh Moon' just a few months after the adoption was finalized. "I don't think I could've ever written a song like that without having a kid," he tells The Boot. "You know how people write songs about things that they don't really experience, but they're so good at writing that they can do that? That's not me. I have to experience it to write about it. And when my little girl started touching my beard and wanting me to hold her instead of other people, I was like, 'Aw, she's mine! And she loves me!'"

The couple recognize that they could face challenges raising a child in the limelight, though, and have a plan -- which included relocating from Los Angeles to Utah -- to combat it. "We both have families who believe in character, integrity and morality," the 'Grey's Anatomy' actress adds. "Not to be overindulged, to be respectful of parents. We feel strongly about these things, especially because of the industries we're in. We'll have to work a little bit harder to keep Naleigh grounded and to make sure she understands how blessed she is -- how blessed we all are."

Josh is starting 2012 with a few tour dates. His next is tonight in Greenville, S.C. Get details here.
