Johnny Depp Jams With Willie Nelson
He might be an award-winning movie actor, but Johnny Depp is also passionate about his other love -- music. The 'Pirates of the Caribbean' showed off his guitar skills during one of Willie Nelson's recent shows.
The singer was on stage performing for Rodeo Austin, as part of the 10-day SXSW music festival on Saturday (March 8), when Depp jumped up to join the country music icon. Dressed in his typical fedora and vest, he played while Nelson sang his classic hit, 'On the Road Again,' along with one of Nelson's own sons.
“Lukas Nelson was there, as was Johnny Depp,” ABC affiliate KVUE says. “Johnny was incognito and introduced as ‘John.’ They were all great!”
Nelson isn't the first musician Depp has jammed with. He's previously performed with several other artists, including Paul McCartney, Carly Simon and Marilyn Manson, among others.
Depp was in Austin with his fiancee, Amber Heard, for the Texas Film Awards, where Heard was honored with the Rising Star Award.
