Joe Diffie Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, and Tanya Tucker have all done it, now it's Joe Diffie's turn. Joe has joined a long legacy of country artists to record live CDs at the famed Billy Bob's Texas nightclub. 'Joe Diffie: Live At Billy Bob's Texas' was recorded last August at the historic honky tonk.. It's the singer's first ever live album.

"I've always wanted to record a live album, and doing a 'Live at Billy Bob's Texas' album was the perfect way to make it happen," Joe says. "I hope that the fun and passion we have when we do a live show translates on the CD."

Three generations of Diffie men contributed to this project. Joe and his son Parker, an aspiring southern rock singer, duet on the Little Feat standard 'Willin',' while the bonus track features Dad Joe Diffie, Sr. performing Johnny Cash's 'Folsom Prison Blues.'

"My dad had no idea that I was going to call him up to the stage to sing with us," recalls Joe. "I'm really proud that he and my son are featured on this album. It's a memory that I'll treasure for the rest of my life."

The album, which hit stores this week, contains 19 live tracks. In addition to Joe's biggest hits, he also performs 'My Give A Damn's Busted,' the Joe Dee Messina chart-topper that he wrote, as well as Charlie Rich's signature song, 'Behind Closed Doors.'
