During the first half of The Voice's Season 12 finale on Monday night (May 22), finalist Jesse Larson debuted an original song written by Chris Stapleton. Readers can press play above to watch Larson's performance of "Woman."

Stapleton co-wrote "Woman" with Timothy James. The song is a soulful slow jam, and it allows Larson to show off his smooth voice. During the show, Larson performed "Woman" atop an elevated stage platform; the performance also gave the Team Adam member an opportunity to remind viewers of his guitar skills thanks to a couple of solos.

“I think that this guy embodies what The Voice should be about," Adam Levine, Larson's coach, commented after the performance (quote via Taste of Country), "and I’m telling you guys, this is the man."

The Voice's Season 12 winner will be announced on Tuesday night (May 23), during the second half of the show's season finale. If he wins, Larson will be the third Levine-coached contestant to do so in The Voice history.

Larson is competing against Chris Blue, a member of Alicia Keys' team, and Aliyah Moulden and Lauren Duski -- both Team Blake members -- for the win. A win for one of Shelton's team members would be his sixth as a coach; should Blue win, Keys will notch her first victory.
