Jason Aldean Plans Summer ‘Party’

As his smash hit 'Don't You Wanna Stay' with Kelly Clarkson spends it's second consecutive week at No. 1, Jason Aldean has announced the addition of a summer leg to his 2011 My Kinda Party tour.

"Feels like this first leg just got started: we're only warming up!" Jason says. "It'll be nice to stop in some places we haven't been since the new record came out."

The first 14 dates sold an impressive 154,000 tickets. Going into the peak summer touring months, Jason has tapped Chris Young and Thompson Square to ensure the second leg is just as successful and entertaining.

"I'm really looking forward to having Chris and Thompson Square out with us too," Jason continues. "Both are on a roll right now, so it'll be a great time!"

More than 18,000 Lexington, Ky. fans witnessed history being made this past Saturday (March 5) as Jason played for Rupp Arena's biggest crowd in more than six years. The date marked the singer's largest attendance as a headliner act.

The tour will resume in Milwaukee, Wis. July 8 with more dates being announced in the coming weeks. Fans can visit Jason's official website to learn more about the upcoming tour.
