Kenny Chesney's upcoming 2015 Big Revival Tour, which will combine forces for select shows with Jason Aldean and Eric Church, could be one of his best tours yet, and both Church and Aldean are excited to hit the road.

Church says he and Chesney came up with the idea for the joint tour after playing together at George Strait's farewell concert in June.

“Kenny and I were talking, and I told him, ‘This was the most fun I’ve ever had' ... It just has this vibe that I loved. When you get that going on in a tour, people feel that,” Church tells CMT. “So I told Kenny, ‘Hey man, if you got a few shows, I’ll ride with you' ... I just hope we attack the stage.”

Aldean seems to have signed on to the project around the same time as Church, saying the deal was already in place by the time he and Chesney went out drinking together in July at Buffalo Wild Wings.

“We were supposed to tour together a couple years ago, but then Kenny decided to take a year off. So all those plans got put on hold," Aldean says. "By the time we were at B-Dubs, everything was already in the works."

Church will perform five dates with Chesney; see a list of stops here. Aldean is set to perform 10 dates on the tour, and he says he's looking forward to gaining from Chesney's extensive touring experience.

“I’m sure I’ll learn some stuff from him out there,” he says, "and I like to think that I bring something to the table that will be something he can take away from that. He’s been doing this longer than I have. And he’s done it the right way -- and built a career from nothing -- so I have a ton of respect for him.”

Brantley Gilbert will also be joining in on the fun, and there's a chance he may get to duet with Chesney while on the road. A list of combined tour dates with Chesney, Aldean and Gilbert can be found here.

Chesney will also be joined by Jake OwenChase Rice and Cole Swindell for select dates of the tour. More information can be found here.
