Jason Aldean's 'Don't You Wanna Stay' duet with Kelly Clarkson remains at No. 1 on the Billboard country chart, while climbing to the top of the Mediabase/Country Aircheck chart for the first time this week. Brad Paisley's 'This is Country Music' moves up a slot to No. 2 on both charts, followed by Billy Currington's 'Let Me Down Easy.'

Jason said the female vocal powerhouse really made the song come alive, and did not realize how smooth the process would be to get her to record with him. "Kelly came in and we started cutting vocals on her, and the first note she started singing, I thought, 'Oh, my God. This is going to be really good!'" the Georgia native tells The Boot.

"She's an amazing singer, and was really cool to work with," he adds. "I couldn't believe how easy it was to get it to happen. Dealing with record labels and getting through the red tape, that's usually the worst part of it. All we did was play her the song, she loved it and was all about it. It was pretty easy as far as that went."

Jason has a few days off the road before he returns with his My Kinda Party tour in Thackerville, Okla., March 19. For more information on Jason's tour dates, click here.
