Jason Aldean Bit by the Acting Bug?

Jason Aldean has certainly got his music career up and running, with his last three singles hitting the top of the charts and another platinum album to celebrate. So, it comes as no surprise that the Georgia native would consider taking on an acting role or two, especially with the big-screen success of such stars as Tim McGraw, Trace Adkins and Reba McEntire.

"There's a ton of things [I want to do]," Jason tells The Boot. "Acting -- I may suck at it, but that's something that I eventually might want to dabble in and see how it goes ... I think this [music career] kind of opens up a lot of doors. I don't want to be an actor, but it'd be cool to just kind of check it out and see if it's something that I like."

While he's accomplished a lot in the last few years, Jason also says that he wants to ramp up the production elements of his live show and someday win an Entertainer of the Year award, confessing, "If I never won another one, that's the only one that I really have marked that I'd like to win at some point."

Jason takes his entertaining self and his Wide Open tour to Salem, Va. tonight (Feb. 4) and Fayetteville, N.C. tomorrow (Feb. 5).
