Like chips and dip or beer and chicken wings, football and country music are two great tastes that taste great together.

This hasn't been lost on Raycom Sports, which owns the rights to broadcast ACC games. Having already worked with such artists as Daughtry and Brooks & Dunn, the company announced today that it will feature Jason Aldean's No. 1 smash, 'My Kinda Party,' throughout the 2011 season.

The tune will playing during the montage that opens each weekly ACC Network telecast, giving fans a good reason to momentarily muffle the ruffling of their chip bags.

Jason isn't the only singer with a connection to college football. This fall, Tennessee hitmaker Rodney Atkins will play swami for Southernpigskin.com, a fan site devoted to SEC football. Each week, Rodney will offer his expert prognostications, even as he preps the release of his fourth album, 'Take a Back Road,' due out October 4.

"The energy of college football rivals that of a live performance for me," Rodney said in a statement. "I am an extremely analytical guy and predicting these games is right up my alley, especially with a little luck thrown in. It is even more fun when I am winning and I have to say, I have fared quite well in my predictions. This season is going to be an exciting and unpredictable one and I look forward to seeing my winning percentage every week."
