He's one of the countriest country singers today, but Jamey Johnson doesn't mind hearing pop stars on country radio.

"Everybody who comes to Nashville has the right to chase their dream," Johnson tells The Boot. "If your dream crashed in L.A. and sent you to Nashville, welcome aboard! Come on down here and let's put a band together. If fans love it, they'll let you know. If they don't love it, they'll let you know that, too!"

Johnson is celebrating a couple of big honors this week, as his album 'That Lonesome Song' was named iTunes' No. 1 country album of 2008. Its first single, 'In Color,' was named No. 1 country song.
