Jake Owen Releases Video for ‘Beachin”

This time of year, it's hard not to be jealous of those who live in sunny Florida, and Jake Owen's new video for his single 'Beachin'' only makes the problem worse.

Owen filmed the video in Daytona Beach, and the warm boardwalk, cut-off shorts and margaritas featured in the video are nothing but a tease during a winter that is especially frigid in most parts of the country. Still, it's nice to have a ray of hope that summer will be arriving soon.

'Beachin'' may remind listeners of many other summertime country songs -- especially the beach tunes of Kenny Chesney. The song was co-written by Jaren Johnston from the Cadillac Three, along with fellow songwriters Jon Nite and Jimmy Robbins.

Owen is currently gearing up for his 2014 Days of Gold Tour, which kicks off March 20 in Brookings, S.D.

“I love throwing parties! This tour is going to be one big party and everyone is invited,” Owen says. “I’ve been lucky enough to be on the road and learn from incredible artists like Chesney, McGraw and Aldean. I’m really proud of this tour and can’t wait for the fans to see what’s in store. The first night can not get here fast enough!”
