An hour later, she added, "We landed but might have to get back on the same plane."
Harrowing stories of country stars in private jets are not terribly uncommon: Sara Evans once recalled a terrifying incident aboard a private plane when the gyroscope malfunctioned and she thought she was going to die.
In November 2021, Cody Johnson told Taste of Country how a near-death experience on a private plane inspired his performance on the hit song "Til You Can't."

Fans likely remember his moving acceptance speeches from the 2023 CMT Music Awards. His two wins were his first in country music. Earlier this week he gave an impassioned speech when he took home a pair of awards at the iHeartRadio Music Awards.
The 2024 CMT Music Awards begin at 8PM ET on CBS on April 7.
