The WhitesThe Whites, Dale Ann Bradley and Jesse McReynolds are among the entertainers who will help the International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) celebreate its 25th anniversary on June 23 in Nashville. Joining them will be Rodney Dillard, Sierra Hull, G2 Bluegrass Band, the Farewell Drifters and Rockin' Acoustic Circus.

The evening's festivities, to be held at the famous Loveless Barn, will include a reception, dinner and music. The event, which is open to the public, will include a look at the history of IBMA and will honor some of the men and women who have worked tirelessly to promote bluegrass music.

IBMA was formed in 1985, when a meeting was held in Nashville that resulted in the formation of the organization which promotes bluegrass music around the world. The group is different from a trade organization such as the Country Music Association, in that fans of the music are allowed to join in a special category. The annual IBMA convention in Nashville, which is its trade show and business conclave, ends each year with a fan-based Fan Fest. It also supports the annual awards show which originates in Nashville.
