Up-and-coming country trio Honey County are premiering their modern revamp of the holiday classic "This Christmas" exclusively for readers of The Boot. Press play below to listen and sing along with the lyric video.

Honey County bring fun harmonies and strong lead vocals from each of its members to "This Christmas," a song first recorded by soul legend Donny Hathaway in 1970. The track is now a holiday staple, and it's been covered by everyone from Lady Antebellum to Aretha Franklin to a cappella group Pentatonix.

"This Christmas" Honey County's first holiday recording, one that fans will want to add to their playlists alongside "Jingle Bell Rock" and Tim McGraw's "Dear Santa." Comprised of Dani Rose, Devon Jane and Katy Stump, the trio has shared the stage with Lady A, Brett Eldredge, Jake Owen and more country favorites; their song "Love Someone" was also featured in the final season of Nashville on CMT.

Honey County released their most recent EP, titled High on the Radio, in February. They followed it up in April with "Country Strong," a ballad devoted to the victims of the 2017 Route 91 Harvest Festival massacre and the 2018 shooting at the Borderline Bar & Grill in California.

"This Christmas" is set for official release on Friday (Nov. 22). Fans can keep up with Honey County and find more information about their new music and upcoming shows via HoneyCounty.com.
