Just in time for the weekend, pop-country sibling trio Holiday State are sharing an acoustic performance of their song "Friday Feelin'" exclusively with readers of The Boot. Press play above to watch.

The band's newest single, "Friday Feelin'" is exactly the kind of song that you want to listen to on the last day of the workweek. "It's a radio up, hair down kinda day / Picnic by the beach, and we can talk a little, kiss a little," the band sings in the upbeat chorus. "You waited all week long for this / Ain't nothin' like this Friday feelin' ..."

Founded in 2014 by California-born brothers Brandon, Bryan and Brett DeLaura, Holiday State have shared the stage with pop acts including O-Town and Sammy Adams. The band's upward rise was put on hold slightly, however, after Brett DeLaura attended the 2017 Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas, Nev. -- at which a shooter killed dozens of concertgoers and injured hundreds more -- and needed some time off to heal.

Now, though the band is looking forward to a future that's bright. "Friday Feelin'" is the first single from the band's forthcoming sophomore EP, recorded in Nashville in 2018 alongside producer Andy Sheridan, known for his work with Hunter Hayes. The project, which is expected this summer, follows the group's 2015 self-titled EP.
