Hillary Scott & the Scott Family won Best Contemporary Christian Music Album at the 2017 Grammy Awards on Sunday (Feb. 12), for their album Love Remains. The honor was handed out during the Premiere Ceremony, which streamed online before the televised awards show.

An emotional Hillary Scott, who had just been up onstage to accept the award for Best Contemporary Christian Performance / Song (for "Thy Will"), had difficulty getting a speech out through her tears, simply saying, "I've gotta redeem myself. I can't even remember what I said."

"We've been crying since this project started," added Lang Scott, Hillary Scott's father. "This started as a thank you to 300 people -- close friends, family ... and we're humbled.

"From Day One, our hope was that this music would bring hope to people ... that it would give them comfort and encourage them," Lang Scott added, "so we are grateful as a family."

The other nominees for Best Contemporary Christian Music Award at the 2017 Grammys were All Sons & Daughters' Poets & Saints; Crowder's American Prodigal; Natalie Grant's Be One; and Hillsong Young & Free's Youth Revival (Live).
