It's tough to pinpoint the sound that defines Australia's Henry Wagons, so we'll just let Justin Townes Earle take a succinct stab at it: "... like Dr. Seuss meets Conway Twitty." In just those few words, Earle manages to capture the diversity found in Wagons' repertoire: brooding vocals, dynamic musical arrangements and tales that only he could tell.

While Wagons is an undeniable star in Australia, America is just learning about his influence, and will get to know him even better with his solo full-length debut, After What I Did Last Night ..., set to hit the streets on Feb. 12 via Goldview / Metropolitan Groove Merchants. Ahead of the project's release, The Boot is excited to bring Wagons to the States a little early with an exclusive premiere of the ruminative track, "Anything You Want."

"When you're struggling to impress, you put everything on the table," Wagons tells The Boot -- and "Anything You Want" finds him doing just that: The singer-songwriter promises anything and everything to a certain special someone, and on a number of occasions reassures this lucky gal, "Baby, I'm your man." It's a song that digs its way into your heart ... and will likely lead you to hit "repeat" over and over.

In addition to an appearance at this year's Folk Alliance in Kansas City, Mo., Wagons is set to hit the road stateside in June, July and August. Stay tuned to his official website for more details on his upcoming jaunt, and readers who like what they hear with "Anything You Want" can pre-order After What I Did Last Night ... through iTunes.
