Granger Smith has released a music video for his newest single, "Backroad Song."

The clip opens with Smith driving a blue pickup truck down a long road on a country farm. As the video continues, the artist picks up a girl in cowboy boots; she jumps in the truck, and they enjoy the peaceful, scenic drive together. Shots of Smith and his band performing "Backroad Song" in a barn are interspersed throughout the music video. Press play above to watch the new clip.

Smith recently announced the release of his debut full-length album, Remington. The 11-track project (15 track including bonus songs) is due out on March 4 through Wheelhouse Records. Smith wrote or co-wrote 13 of the record's tunes.

“I’ve always thought of my albums as diaries of my life: Some songs are easy and lighthearted, while others are painful and personal,” Smith says. “During this time, we welcomed the birth of my little boy, and we lost my dad. My life was such a roller coaster during my time writing and recording Remington, and you can hear that journey in these songs.”
