Florida Georgia Line to Open Restaurant / Entertainment Venue in Nashville
Florida Georgia Line's Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard are jumping into the restaurant / club business: The country duo has announced their plans for FGL House, a four-story restaurant and entertainment venue that will soon open in Nashville.
FGL House, a partnership between Hubbard, Kelley and LRC Group, is scheduled to open early in the summer of 2017, a press release reports; it will be located on 3rd Avenue South, in Nashville's SoBro ("South of Broadway") neighborhood. Hubbard explains that he and Kelley want the venue "to be just as welcoming, fun and entertaining for our guests as if they were coming out to one of our shows."
FGL House will serve Southern-style-meets-California cuisine, local craft beer and a cocktail menu highlighting Florida Georgia Line's own Old Camp Whiskey. For entertainment, the venue will feature live music daily and custom mixes from Dee Jay Silver on Country Club Tuesdays; a basement-level lounge featuring a baby grand piano and a '90s-inspired cocktail menu; a giant video wall; and a rooftop party deck.
“What excites Tyler and I the most is always staying creative," Kelley says. "We love seeing what fresh things we can come up with to take our music to a new level and turn our dreams into reality."
Hubbard and Kelley won't have too much time to enjoy their new video this summer, however: Florida Georgia Line’s Smooth Tour 2017 is set to begin on June 2 in Austin, Texas, and wrap up with two shows in Alpharetta, Ga., on Oct. 20 and 21. The trek features special guests Nelly and Chris Lane at all shows, and the Backstreet Boys at select stadium dates.
