Florida Georgia Line Team Up With Backstreet Boys (Again) for ‘Crossroads’
Florida Georgia Line will team up once again with the Backstreet Boys to perform some of their biggest hits on CMT's series Crossroads. The country / pop artist mashup will feature collaborations on Backstreet Boys songs including "I Want it That Way" and "As Long as You Love Me," Florida Georgia Line's song "H.O.L.Y." (among others) and the song that began it all: the No. 1-charting single "God, Your Mama and Me."
“It’s been really cool to collaborate with the Backstreet Boys in so many different ways this year,” says FGL's Brian Kelley (quote via CMT). “And to be able to take our friendship — and smooth new dance moves — up a notch with this full-blown concert together is going to be epic!”
Adds Kelley's duo partner, Tyler Hubbard, "Getting us all under one roof in Nashville will be fire. We can’t wait to jump in on each other’s songs and add our flavor to ones we grew up listening to!”
After collaborating on "God, Your Mama and Me," Florida Georgia Line and the Backstreet Boys have been playing select venues together this summer as part of FGL's Smooth Tour. During the 2017 ACM Awards, the two acts performed together as well.
“Being such fans of each other, this is a really fun way for us to put our mark on our songs,” Backstreet Boys member Brian Littrell says. “It’s going to be a fun night with seven guys who really admire one another. I’m looking forward to what comes of it!”
Florida Georgia Line and the Backstreet Boys' episode of CMT's Crossroads will air Aug. 30 at 10PM ET. Check out FGL's website for a current tour schedule.
