Easton Corbin Used to Think He Sounded Different on the Radio
Trenton, Fla., native Easton Corbin signed his first record deal with Universal Music Group Nashville in 2009 and found success with his debut single, the No. 1 "A Little More Country Than That," and self-titled debut record, released in 2010. Below, the singer recalls to The Boot the first time he heard himself on the radio – and who was there to share the special moment with him.
I was down in Florida, my home. I just got done playing a radio gig for my hometown station, and I was going with my parents, back [in] their car, and it actually came on.
I used to think I would sound different, but you get used to it.
