Dolly Parton made a surprise appearance at the 2019 Newport Folk Festival on Saturday (July 27), joining Brandi Carlile during a set featuring a number of female country, Americana, folk and bluegrass stars. The country icon performed songs with Carlile and her special guests, to the delight of the festival crowd.
