Dierks Bentley says it would be pretty tough to pass up the opportunity to perform at the Nobel Peace Prize Concert.

"At the end of summer we were planning on taking off in December but what a cool thing to be part of," the country star tells The Boot. "There will be many of the great world leaders there, making for a unique crowd of folks to perform for."

The concert will take place December 11 in Norway. Bentley says he has visited to the country in the summertime and loved it. "There are great people over there. As the band and I travel to different places we realize that people are pretty much the same everywhere."

Bentley will perform three songs for the concert, held the day after the Nobel Peace Prize is presented to former Finnish president Martti Ahtisaari. Scarlett Johansson and Michael Caine will co-host the show, which takes on an international flair. Performers from around the world will participate, including Diana Ross, Feist, Julieta Venegas, and Marit Larsen, among others.

Bentley just announced that his upcoming album, his fourth, will be named after his hit single 'Feel that Fire.' The CD will be released on February 3, 2009.
