Dierks Bentley Lends New Song to GAC’s #DearAmerica Campaign

Dierks Bentley's new song, 'I Hold On,' will serve as the soundtrack for the #DearAmerica campaign from Great American Country. The track is also scheduled to appear on his upcoming album, 'Riser.'

GAC asked viewers to write or share pictures about what they love most about America, and fans have responded with a flood of inspiring images about family, nature and much more. The lyrics to 'I Hold On' speak to the kinds of letters and images that continue to pour in via Twitter, Instagram and email.

"This song is probably one of the most personal songs I've ever written or recorded, but at the same time it hits a lot of universal themes that I think we can all relate to," Bentley says in a press release. "I've really been able to sense that from the fans when I play 'I Hold On' out on the road, and am really looking forward to seeing what country fans tuning in at home will share."

Many viewer submissions will be used in on-air commercials, as well as online at GACTV.com. Fans are encouraged to share photos by using #DearAmerica at both Twitter and Instagram, or by emailing dearamerica@gactv.com. Viewers can also upload their photos to the fan wall on the Great American Country mobile app.
