Dierks Bentley will hit the road for his Miles & Music for Kids charity motorcycle ride and concert, taking his annual, multi-city event to Chicago, Ill. for the first time on October 9. The country crooner has raised more than $1.6 million in the six-year history of the charity, which raises funds for the Children's Miracle Network hospitals. Proceeds from the Windy City event will go directly to the Chicago's Children's Memorial Hospital.

As for the inspiration behind his goodwill efforts, the singer credits the health of his own two daughters, a blessing he does not take for granted. "These families who have children in the hospital, they need to only have to worry about their child getting well, not where the next money is coming from," Dierks tells The Boot.

The inaugural Chicago stop for Miles & Music for Kids will depart from the Fox River Harley-Davidson, with the hour-and-a-half-long ride ending with a street festival outside Joe's Bar. The event will be capped with a jam-style concert featuring Dierks, Jerrod Niemann, the Eli Young Band and more.

Tickets will go on sale this Friday (August 26) on Dierks' official website. Tickets for the ride and concert are $40, with a $20 option available for concert-only. Special VIP packages are available as well.
