You don't really have to be a football fan to decode the news Dierks Bentley tweeted Wednesday night (April 24):

"So my wife and I will be changing our family defensive strategy come the fall. Switching from MAN-TO-MAN to ZONE. #3! Advice @theTimMcGraw?!"

That's right, baby No 3 is on the way for Dierks and wife Cassidy, joining big sisters Evie (4) and Jordan (2). Since Dad is asking Tim McGraw advice, one might think he's hinting that his newest will also be a girl (Tim and wife Faith Hill have three daughters), but in subsequent tweets responding to notes of congratulations, the singer alludes to not knowing the gender yet.

"It really does change your life," Dierks once told The Boot of fatherhood. "People always talk about how when you get married and have a child, you settle down. But when you have kids, it's not like settling down; it's like starting over. Your whole world explodes. Everything's more meaningful. In a way, it's like a chance to do everything all over again ... It's amazing. I highly recommend it! [laughs]"

Dierks is currently on the road with Miranda Lambert on their Locked and Reloaded Tour. This weekend, he'll play the Stagecoach Music Festival in Indio, Calif. See a list of cities and dates where you can see Dierks in concert here.
