Dierks Bentley will remain "somewhere on a beach" through the late fall. The singer announced on Monday (July 25) that he is extending his 2016 Somewhere on a Beach Tour, keeping himself on the road through the end of October.

Bentley's newly announced dates begin on Oct. 13 in Ft. Wayne, Ind., following a two-night stand at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado on Sept. 26 and 27. He will now stop in Roanoke, Va., Knoxville, Tenn., and Columbia, Mo., among others, before the tour wraps up; a complete list of the singer's remaining Somewhere on a Beach Tour stops, including the new shows, is below. Randy Houser will continue to serve as one of Bentley's opening acts, with Drake White joining the trek as well.

“We’re about 30 shows in so far, and I feel like we are just getting started ... The songs from the new album are really connecting like nothing I’ve experienced before, the band and crew are in a great groove, and we’re having the time of our lives out there," Bentley shares in a press release. “I love having Randy out there with us, and I’m looking forward to picking up Drake and his guys for the rest of the fall."

At a recent event, Bentley admitted that his Somewhere on a Beach Tour is his favorite tour he's ever done.

"I need to walk out on the stage and have a really good time, have fun. I want to be pacing throughout it," Bentley told The Boot and other reporters. "I never want it to feel like a show, like I have to put on a show, with these songs. I want them to be on a roller coaster ride that, no matter what mood I’m in, when I walk onstage, I’m ready to rock. It just takes me."

The Arizona native drew on his years of headlining experience when planning his current cross-country trek.

"It’s a really fun show. I feel like all the years of playing so much, I’ve found a way to really have fun with the crowd," Bentley notes. "It’s necessary for me to have fun with them in order for it to be a fun night for them. All the shotgunning beer stuff, stage-diving, is a way for it to get the wind."

A list of all of Bentley's upcoming shows, plus ticketing details, is available on his website.
